National Wear Red Day

Cross my heart and hope to not die of heart disease. Today is the American Heart Association's 10th annual Wear Red Day, aimed at raising awareness of the impact heart disease has on women's health, quality of life, and longevity. If you're a woman, take a few minutes today to find out what you can do to improve your heart health and lower your risk factors for heart disease. Then do something heart-friendly. Take a walk. Hug your sweetie. Have a salad. Call someone you love. Switch from milk to dark chocolate. And wear red...it looks fabulous on everyone.

Have a lovely weekend! I'm going to finish knitting that scarf now.
